About This Website
The Rice Purity Test has circulated informally for decades, passed between friends, posted on forums, and rewritten many times over. Most versions online are difficult to use: long scrolling lists, broken scoring, cluttered layouts, or pages that do not work properly on a phone.
We built this site to fix that. It offers a clean, straightforward version of the 100-question questionnaire, a score that is calculated the moment you finish, and plain explanations of what the number does and does not describe. Nothing is hidden behind a sign-up, and nothing is dressed up as more meaningful than it is.
Alongside the test itself, the site publishes supporting material: a full score meaning guide, a walkthrough of how the scoring works, and a set of frequently asked questions. The aim is that someone who arrives curious about a number leaves understanding where that number came from.

We are honest about what the test is
The Rice Purity Test is not a psychological instrument. It has never been validated by research and has no diagnostic value. We say so on every page that discusses scoring rather than letting the format imply otherwise.
We keep the wording neutral
The questions are written plainly and without sensational language, and the results are explained the same way. Sensitive topics are covered because the questionnaire covers them, not for effect.
We let people opt out at any point
A content notice appears before the questionnaire begins, any individual question can be skipped without affecting the result, and you can stop at any point without being asked why.
